Rhythm & Blues 5% of all records sold in 1953

   December 1953-15 million rhythm & blues records are bought in 1953, while that accounts for just 5.7% of all records sold it begins to draw notice in the industry which fails to note the growing interest among young white audiences that will soon have a major impact on society as a whole.
