   In 1951 Bob Horn adds television to his duties, at WFIL-TV. 

   Bandstand was originally a radio show broadcast by Philadelphia's WIP-AM station and hosted by Bob Horn, who moved with the show to rival station WFIL in 1951.

  In 1951 Bob Horn moved his highly popular Bandstand to rival WIP.
