Dick Clark, May 13, 1952

  May 13, 1952-Dick Clark, 22, joins staff of WFIL radio.

   WFIL Whitemarsh Transmitter Site - Construction of the WFIL-AM towers at Whitemarsh Pa. The three 397 foot towers were completed in the fall of 1947. Power was raised to 5,000 watts. These towers were replaced in 1987.
